When we started The GigaSpaces Blog the original idea was for it to be a group blog, similar to the ones from Interface21 and JBoss. I am not sure exactly why it didn't work out, but what ended up happening was that the various bloggers at GigaSpaces had their own individual blogs and the company one sort of became Nati Shalom's blog. But because it wasn't really his personal blog, Nati didn't feel that comfortable to treat it as such, which kind of watered it down. I think that the reason is that although we all cooperate closely on a day-to-day basis, we have a group of strong-minded individuals here at GigaSpaces, who like their freedom.
Anyway, we decided to change the format. The company blog will now refer to other blog posts that are relevant to GigaSpaces, be used for announcements (press releases, events, new product releases, etc.) and other company updates.
Nati now has his own individual blog, where he will continue to post his thoughts about Space-Based Architecture, GigaSpaces and distributed computing in general. Please check it out.
If you want to check out other GigaSpaces bloggers, we will maintain an updated list here, and at some point will set up an aggregated feed on our web site (we are working on a whole new site).
