Thanks to David at CloudyDomains.com I now finally have ThinkingOutCloud.com. I am still going to keep the blog under http://gevaperry.typepad.com (because of SEO and the many links that lead to this URL), but the new domain name will be forwarded here as well - and it's much easier to remember.
CloudyDomains has a whole bunch of Cloud Computing related domain names, so if you are looking for a good domain name for your cloud startup or cloud computing product, it's worth checking out.
